We are now into the second week of year 2006. Time really passes very fast these days and before long it'll be Chinese New Year again!
We are hoping to bring you to the Zoo again but it has been raining day after day since last week and we are still waiting for a sunny day to bring you out. I know you are very bored and restless being confined at home most of the days so let's pray for good weather soon. This might be interesting for you to know when you are reading this many years later, the weather these days around the world is crazy. This is a cold year for many countries, many people died because of the sudden drop in temperature and in Singapore, we recorded 23 degrees celsius just a few days ago.
Anyway, despite of the rainy days, we still managed to do the following in our first week of Jan!
1) Birthday celebration of Por Por at Pariss Seafood International. We had a sumptuos buffet at the courtesy of your generous jiu jiu. We also celebrated 1st day of 2006.
3 generations.
Our happy family
2) Went to Bugis to hunt for my camera case to replace the one I have just lost. Daddy bought you a set of new macaras there. It has become your favourite toy at the moment.
Very happy with your new toy.
3) Meetup with Christina and her baby Karu who is just a few days younger than you at Great World City. You had fun with Karu playing together. This is our first time meeting them.

Today is Hari Raya, I am praying and hoping for the rain to stop so that we could bring you somewhere for a little while. We have to come home for dinner tonight because your grandparents are preparing the traditional Chinese basin dish for the first time. Yum Yum!
