In Love

Dearest Natalie,

I am so in love with you today.

I woke up this morning to find you stroking my face gently while giggling to yourself. I opened my eyes and saw the prettiest smile on your well rested face. I quickly embraced you and planted many kisses on your face and got you laughing really loud. Then we rolled on the bed together for a little while before we started our day proper. These are times that I am really thankful to God for having you. Motherhood is so rewarding.

I was in a very good mood today and bought you out again. We went shopping and I decided not to buy my new dress which I'll not be wearing much but use the money to buy you a pair of nice walking shoes instead. The other day when we brought you out for a walk, you wanted so badly to come down and join the older kids for fun. We couldn't let you down coz you did't have proper shoes. Now you can walk all you want!

We did more shopping before we came home and you fell asleep while we were waiting for the taxi and slept all the way home and woke up only almost 90 mins later. You slept for a good whole 2 hours today and I was able to do alot of my stuffs while waiting for you to wake up.

You seem to have lost interest in your food. You want to eat our food and you only take a few bites. You have become much clevere and will look at what is on the spoon before you open your mouth. Food that you don't like, you'll simply shake your head and reject it. Time for mommy to do some research on what other yummy and healthy food we can feed you. We really miss your gluttony days when you were game enough to gobble down anything we put into your mouth. I hope this is just a passing phase. You have been nursing more frequently than before too, maybe it is because you don't eat enough of other food. Luckily the doctor said that at this time breastmilk is still the best source of food for you so I can be assured you still get what it takes to grow.

Daddy's on leave tomorrow and we are bringing you to Babies' Prom in the morning and then to the zoo in the afternoon! You'll have lotsa fun!
